814, 813, 817 & 801 Church Street, Nashville, TN

This iconic property, built in 1935, was originally the home of the Nashville Gas Company, which was succeeded by Piedmont Natural Gas in 1985.  When I became aware of the opportunity to purchase this unique and extremely well located downtown Nashville property, listed for sale on the several online subscription listing services to which I subscribe, I advised those of my clients, for whom this property was a match.  It is diagonally across from the site of the new Federal Court House.  One of my California real estate investors immediately made an offer to which the seller responded and we were subsequently able to negotiate mutually agreeable price and terms.  Two additional parcels across Church Street were included as part of the transaction, and a third abutting parcel at 801 Church Street, was purchased separately by the same investor who now owns the entire portion of the block fronting Church Street from Rosa L. Parks Boulevard to Ninth Avenue North.  I represented the seller in that transaction.
